Brave Space
Meet Up Group for LGBTQ+ Youth
At Brave Space, we keep the camp magic alive all year long! From beach bonfires and queer youth leadership conferences, to movie nights and cake decorating classes. There is always a fun adventures to be had with your Brave Trails family! We are also excited to add online programing such as identity troops, online activites, and leadership workshops!
All LGBTQ+ youth and allies, ages 11-18, are welcome to join us, whether you’ve been at camp or not. Come make frineds, meet awesome LGBTQ mentors, and be exactly who you are.
Mentorship Program
Yearround Staff-to-Camp Mentoring
Brave Trails mentorship program is designed to continue the special and important bonds that campers and staff members create while at camp. We know that many of our campers do not have access to supportive and affirming adults in their communities. As such, having a mentor who they trust to guide them through life is life changing and in some cases, lifesaving.
Mentors have the honor of guiding, supporting, and further developing their camper in their leadership process. At the end of the year, the pair will execute a leadership project that they spent the year planning. Click the button below to see some examples of how mentorship matches are changing the world!

Online Programing
Bringing LGBTQ+ Youth Together Every Day!
We are excited to host FREE online programming throughout the fall. Each month, we will update this page with new programs that welcome all LGBTQ+ youth and allies, ages 12-18. Alumni campers and staff are also invited to join us in these spaces. Please RSVP using the links below, zoom information will be sent to attendees leading up to the event.
