At camp, our staff becomes a tight-knit family that rallies around a single mission, fostering the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders. Brave Trails staff members are committed, dynamic, positive, energetic, flexible, patient, and give 100% to their campers. Life at camp requires staff members to have a strong understanding of boundaries and serve as role model to our campers.

We’re not gonna lie, it’s really hard work, maybe the hardest job you’ll ever have. It’s not for everyone. There will be early mornings, long days, late night, and rustic forest environments. The most successful staff members are people who don’t mind getting dirty, have A LOT of energy and a good sense of humor, will gladly make a fool of themself to make campers smile, can get along with all personality types, and have a genuine passion for working with LGBTQ+ youth.
