Every day LGBTQ+ youth see too many examples of how the world is not working for them, so what happens when we show them what the world could look like?

This is where we come in! At Camp Brave Trails, we create an environment our campers can thrive in, without the fear of having to explain their identity or the risk of being othered. We help our campers find their people, place, and passion. At camp, our campers discover supportive LGBTQ+ adult mentors, lifelong friends, leadership training, and of course, tons of fun! We like to think of it as filling the gaps of needs that many of our campers are not able to access in their schools or communities.

It’s no wonder the most common word campers use to describe us is “home”. We create a family at camp where every campers is loved and accept for exactly who they are.
